The product guide

A closer look at the system behind what you keep.

The homepage gives you the promise. Here is the practical detail: how something becomes a record, stays useful in a plan or trip, remains findable, and can be shared with care.

From what you say to something you can use.

A thought, a list, a trip, a photo or something it looks up for you becomes a draft you can review and change before it is saved. Here are five real ways it works.

1 · You say something
Create a workout planner for Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 PM to 6:30 PM and for Monday it's chest and tricep for Wednesday. It is back and bicep for Friday. It is legs, shoulders, and abs. Dictated

Concrete workflows

Some records do more than hold information.

Journeys and plans are two examples of records with deeper structure: one understands movement through the world; the other understands time, repetition and progress.

Journeys

Save a place, a route, or a whole trip in the same shape.

Journeys cover one saved place, a point-to-point route and a multi-stop itinerary. Ground legs retain their route and travel mode; a flight can carry resolved terminal, gate, schedule, status and delay details.

  • Places, road routes and transport legs retain the details that make each useful.
  • Unconfirmed legs remain visible instead of quietly disappearing.

Planner

One plan can keep showing up in the way your week actually works.

The type tells you what a plan is; its place in the day tells you when it belongs. Recurring plans retain the outcome of each occurrence, so the past stays honest rather than being overwritten by the next week.

What it is

A Sequence tells the story. A Deck curates one kind of thing.

Both are ordered linked views, so reordering changes the view—not the original records. The difference is what each view is allowed to hold.

A Sequence can also be shared. See who gets access to what ↓

Reorder this trip view. Every linked record stays where it was created.

Retrieval

Find the detail without remembering which kind of thing it was.

One search works across everything you kept. Use a word to look broadly, or start with @ when you already know you need photos, trips, tasks or another type.

  • Photo text is searchable.
  • Words spoken in voice and video are searchable.
  • Search access follows the records a person is allowed to see.

Shared work

Share the work without flattening everyone into the same role.

This is the same Japan trip from above, now with three people in it. The owner runs the Sequence; an editor adds their own records and keeps editing those; a viewer reads it without changing anything.

Each card shows who added it — which is also who can change it. That matters when one trip holds the plans everyone needs alongside a note only you should see.

Continuity

Small details that keep the system useful later.

These are the quieter parts of the product: less dramatic in the first minute, and the reason anything you keep today still makes sense in two years.

Guided tags

Context you did not have to invent

While a draft is being written, tags are suggested from a curated vocabulary — and you decide which ones stay.

Jot First full night

Ellie slept through. Seven hours. I woke at five anyway.

Suggested tags

Drawn from 313 guided tags across 15 areas of life. Tap to keep or drop one — you never have to invent a filing system.

Timezones

The right time, wherever you are

Keep the timezones you actually live in. A record holds the zone it belongs to, so a moment reads correctly from any of them.

Planner entry Weekly design review Every Tuesday

ET 12:00PM New YorkUTC−4
MT 10:00AM DenverUTC−6

Checklist templates

Write it once, use it every time

Start a new checklist whenever the work comes back. The template never carries a tick.

Everything has a useful shape. The system makes it stay useful.

Capture what matters, let it remain connected, and return to it when life gives it a reason to matter again.
